poundage and pedicures

Ran out and got a pedicure for the first time in forever today. To give you an idea of how long it had been, the nice lady asked if I would like my callouses removed and I said sure. She whipped out that little instrument that literally carves off the deadskin with a razor blade and when she was done, there was a pile of deadskin carvings all over the towel. Can you say 'ewwww'? Then she said. "Been long time, huh?" Well duh! lol

But now my feet are gorgeous. I will schedule a manicure in a couple of weeks, right before I leave for Atlanta for the National RWA conference. I have been growing out my nails and the problem is, they are so long that I am hitting the wrong keys when I type. Go figure.

Also, a little weight loss update. Down 8 pounds so a few more to go and I will be comfy in my conference clothes. Phew!
